It's almost Valentine's Day. I bet some of you have some very special plans for sweethearts and family alike. When the kids were little I always left a box of candy hearts on the table, courtesy of Cupid. On St. Patrick's Day, the leprechaun would show up with a shamrock shaped treat.

What is the most romantic thing you've ever done for your spouse? It could be something someone has done for you. I'd love to hear and might even sneak it into a book.

• Relive your first date
• Make a mixed tape (It would be a playlist now)
• Make a list of everything you appreciate about the other
• Write a poem
• Make a coupon book
• Make plans for a special night not on Valentine's Day

On a personal note, I took a cruise with my sister.While in Puerto Rico, I saw a man with parrots offering to do photos. I had no clue he would put the birds in my hair. The way my hair looked, he figured the birds couldn't make it look any worse.
